Did you see the great article in the Gainesville Sun about our new monthly outreach clinic in Southwest Gainesville? Since February, SFPC volunteers have been seeing pets at the SWAG Family Resource Center in Linton Oaks. With funding for spay/neuter from the Wagmore Foundation and funding for veterinary pharmaceuticals and supplies from the Cold Noses Foundation, we’re trying improve the health and well being of pets in the area while reducing the number of strays and surrenders to the county animal shelter.
